This is a different way to start the New Year and it won't happen again anytime soon. With that preface, ESPN.com's Gene Wojciechowski has written a brilliant article ("History not working in Tebow's favor") worth highlighting.
I admit one of the main reasons I believe this article is amazing, is that is propagates my hatred of the blue and orange color combination. That's right I despise the Florida Gators, the New York teams (plural) and can't forget Boise State. Actually I'm not sure why blue and orange are complimentary colors, because they don't compliment each other.

I totally agree. Everything changes for a quarterback like Tebow once he enters the NFL. First of all, QB draws up the middle for 16 yards aren't happening. Neither are the 20 carries up the middle that enable that one 16 yard gain to happen. Quarterbacks in the NFL have to be able to read coverages based on their offensive formations and progress through their receivers and/or audible (see Payton Manning and Tom Brady on this one) to create matchup problems for the defense. No offense to Tebow, but he doesn't exactly appear to be an intellectual QB who can accomplish this. Simply put, Tebow is a system QB who, thanks to his size, is able to double as a tough running RB and a QB. This mismatch allows him to, say, jump pass his way to success. This won't happen in the NFL. One hit from the league's top linebackers and his jump pass will end up in the hands of the wrong team.
